Home is where your nervous system softens.
Hi, I’m Kim.
Body-based Trauma Therapy - in Lisbon & Online.
About 10 years ago, a burnout and a string of personal losses pushed me to rebuild my life from the ground up. That meant getting real about mental health — and about the body. What started as my own healing path became my life's work.
As a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SE)® and burnout prevention trainer, I help people reconnect with their nervous system and find their way back to themselves.
I work with you as an equal, I don’t want to hand you a fixed formula because every person is different, and every body holds its own story. So instead of a one-size-fits-all method, we work with somatic approaches tailored to you.

My approach.
My work centers on two things I know intimately — both personally and professionally:
Trauma & Burnout.
Both leave their mark on the nervous system, on a system that's had to carry too much, for too long.
I know from personal experience what it feels like when anxiety, exhaustion, or that hollow "I'm-not-really-here" feeling take over daily life. Many of the people who come to me don't know exactly why they feel this way. They just know something's off. Others already know, have tried different approaches, and still feel stuck in the same loop.
This is where I come in: step by step, we work to release stored, stuck responses in the nervous system, and rebuild a felt sense of inner safety, agency, and aliveness.
Today, I share what once helped me — and what still carries me: the trust that there's more possible than just functioning.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of learning from many different teachers and approaches.
But it was somatic work and trauma integration that truly taught me what regulation, trust, and aliveness actually feel like in the body.
Somatic Experiencing® in particular reawakened a sense of connection in me that I hadn't felt in a long time — to myself, to others, and to life itself.
Since then, I've kept training and deepening my knowledge, because I know from my own experience: healing is never one-size-fits-all.
I work with Somatic Experiencing® (SE), complex trauma work, NARM™ (the NeuroAffective Relational Model, for relational, attachment, and developmental trauma), Gestalt therapy, Polyvagal Theory & nervous system regulation, and psychological yoga therapy.
